Description
From the sun-drenched Cerrado Mineiro plateau of Minas Gerais, one of Brazil's most celebrated coffee-growing regions, this peaberry single origin is something special. A peaberry forms when only one seed develops inside the coffee cherry rather than the usual two flat halves, concentrating the fruit's sugars and nutrients into a single rounded bean. The result is a noticeably more intense and uniform extraction.
Processed using the washed method and roasted to a city+ level, this Brazilian delivers a clean, richly satisfying cup ideally suited to espresso, bean-to-cup machines and Moka pot.
Our head roaster's recommended espresso recipe: 17g in, 34g out, 25 seconds - the same recipe we use in our cafe.
